The Ease of a Cotton Swab-the Power of Oxygen
Teeth Whitening Tips is a new concept in dental whitening that delivers the stain-removing power of oxygen precisely where you need it even between teeth but is safe and gentle on the gums, and helps remove plaque, too in just minutes a day.
Our patented delivery system of formula-filled swabs eliminates the risk of contamination posed by re-usable brushes. Use once... and toss! It's so easy, and our unique, gentle formula begins to break down organic stains on contact, so it doesn't have to stay on your teeth for a long time. Just apply it to your teeth, rinse, and go!
Our Patented, Two-Step System Takes Only 5 Minutes, Twice a Day!
Here's how it works: Each Teeth Whiten Tips™ system comes with a 6-day supply of disposable applicator swabs filled with a liquid formula, and a separate jar of whitening powder. The jar contains gentle, stabilized Magnesium Peroxide (whitener) and Aluminum Trihydroxide (polisher) that is "activated" by the formula-filled swabs.
The Powder: Magnesium Peroxide releases oxygen slowly in contact with atmospheric moisture, and scrubs away stains safely and effectively. It is also used as a disinfectant in cosmetics, toothpaste and pharmaceuticals.
While the Magnesium Peroxide works to lift stains, powder-fine particles of Aluminum Trihydroxide polish your teeth for a smooth, shiny surface.
The Swab: The formula in our patented swabs consists of glycerine, water, peppermint flavor, FD&C Blue coloring, Methylparaben, a natural preservative and antimicrobial agent, and Propylparaben-another naturally occurring preservative compound that has long been manufactured for use in foods, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.
The Process: When you're ready to use an applicator, snap the swab as per directions to release the formula, and dip it into the whitening powder. The swabs are designed to pick up and activate just the right amount of powder for each application-so you never have to worry about measuring.
Use one swab for your upper teeth, a separate one for your lower teeth, and then throw them away. It's that simple! Our formula also leaves your mouth minty fresh.

Comments about this video:
I had 2 dry sockets after getting my wisdom teeth pulled. I ended up going back to the oral surgeon and he packed them with gauze soaked in clove oil. The pain was gone in 15 minutes.I fucking hate dentists x.x never had a good experience with one. It is now mandatory I have nitrous because I shake so hard and so bad that I shake the chair and the dentist can't work. Poor guy I feel for him all the way I can't even imagine this. I puled my own tooth which has been causing me a great deal of discomfort for sometime. I hadn't gone to a dentist because the pain went away after sometime. so I woke up today and i noticed it was lose so I decided to get a clean cloth and apply some grip on it and start wiggling it until I was able to pull it out clean very little blood if any...now I noticed a open area and a white like area within the hollow gum????? outside area is swollen and abscess like...wth...help. doesn't hurt yet.
It felt like someone kept drilling my surgical site. I couldn't open my mouth. I have to go back n forth with my dentist to redo my packing coz no narcotic could ease it. The packing could not last a day! I swore to God I am so thinking my dentist is dumb to not even think its infected. Refused to give me narcotics or ATB.
Im in pain still because of this crap dry socket. It was twice as worse to begin with. I had headache constantly throbbing pain along with my extraction site. Like the worstttttt pain ever!!.
I had this done today, and wasn't numbed, he stuck that sucking thing down in the socket to get a food particle out and it HURT so bad. But after he packed it the pain went away in 20 minutes.Just got my wisdom teeth out recently, the initial anesthesia that my doctor put into my gums, it hurt a lot. It actually made me tear up. But once it kicked in, I felt absolutely NOTHING. I felt like I didn't even have a mouth. Haha. I got two dry sockets, however, my doctor put some type of medicated gauze into the hole, and, I would go back every other day or so to get a replacement gauze, I am now doing fine! :). i have dry socket but it dosent hurt that bad i went to the dentist and she confirmed it so she just sent me home with a syringe to clean it out if i get food in it how long will it take for it to heal it hurts a little not to bad tho.
you probably don't have true Alveolar osteitis if the pain's "not so bad". true dry socket hurts so bad it'll make you cry. the pain is up there with kidney stones, gunshot wounds, and childbirth. i've had a true dry socket, and it felt like a hammer drill was boring a hole in my jaw. it was so bad, i couldn't open my mouth.
I had my leg pulled into a two ton paper press that flattened my leg between two rollers with 6cm gap and laid their for 12 hours as my crushed and flat leg was cut off me without any pain killer so i wouldnt pass out.
Know the feeling, was up at 3am in tears, was awake for two hours, overdosed on paracetamol...skipped work the next day and ran up to the hospital...it was THAT bad...
Eugenol is really something. I didn't really learn about it until a tooth that popped a large filling became infected before I got to the dentist. Nothing made the pain go away, trying to use something like ambesol would make it flare like the fire of a thousand suns. One little gauze ball with eugenol deadened it right up. Burns like no other on the gums though. So odd how that works, kills nerve pain but sets the gums on fire...
This same is happening to me right bow, its day 2 tho, but its really tasting weird and i woke up and it smelt horrible. Is this normal?
I just got 4 wisdom teeth pulled today. The reason they recommend not smoking is the same reason they recommend not drinking thick liquids from a straw, The suction required to pull on a cigarette or a milkshake will also act on the socket, and potentially cause it to burst/pop/rupture/whatever.
Smoking may cause healing? That's great to know! I'd love to have a cigarette right now :D I kid. Just wisdom tooth extraction. Hopefully no dry socket. Poor guy.
That guy needs to get a good deep cleaning on his teeth, hes going to have a lot more problems then missing teeth if he lets that get worse.
wish this guy was around where i live you go to the hospital here and they say they cant do nothing give you weak ass pain meds that dont even touch the pain and give you antibiotics they never do this...and this is supposed to be a state of the art hospital too what a joke...i got dry socket right now and have to wait till monday to get it takin care of at my dentist they care so much they have pateints come in daily for repacking and flushing...my hats off to you sir!!!!!
I have a pretty high pain threshold and let me tell you, a dry socket was the worst pain I have ever had. Packing it was no picnic either...the only thing that kept me from crying during the packing was knowing that soon, the eugenol (oil of cloves) was going to help the pain. It is amazing how this stuff works almost immediately. But my mouth tasted like a ham dinner. Its fucking horrible. Not only did I get dry socket, but the wisdom tooth I had pulled was infected and they literally had to rip it out, rather than cut. That hurt SO bad, and then 3 days later I get even more pain. Seriously, avoid dry socket AT ALL cost! Worst pain I've ever had in my life, and I've broken bones numerous times, cut myself terribly, and had all sorts of retarded injuries.
It fixes it because the Doctor is soaking the gauze in clove oil (numbing and cleaning) and also it's soaked with antibiotics, then he packs it into the extraction site, creating a sterile barriers between the exposed bone and nerves, and the inside of the patient's moth!
its a open nerve nerves are what cause pain air open nerve hrt so bad worst i ever felt its straight pain. I had my bottom left wisdom tooth pulled out on saturday gone, last night i got 3 hours sleep as i was in pain...this morning went to my dentist who told me i had a dry socket...he packed it with this antiseptic paste type of stuff...the taste i had before i went to my dentist was just horrible...my dentist also give me some antibiotics...my mother give me some Tramadol tablets..my ear ache has gone the feeling of pain has gone and all i can taste is antiseptic, i can't wait for my sleep!!.i have 5 dry sockets right now. i have2go into the dentist tomorrow to get all 5 'Re-packed' with the medicated strips.i was so careful not to rinse really hard or use a straw, i made sure2let the clots form and everything and some people are just more prone to them than other people.Yes it hurts like a bitch its not just pain but after they put the packing in there, then you have a lot of pain from the pressure.from the packing along with the pain, i cannot eat or even sleep. You sir are a champ, your jaw twitching says it all, I'm not smoking till the socket heals, screw dry socket.
wont change a thing they don't really know what cause the dry socket and it s 5% of the extraction where it happen!
They DO know what causes it. It's caused by negative pressure, sucking or blowing too hard, which in turn dislodges the blood clot that forms directly after the initial tooth extraction. When this happens, it leaves the jaw bone, and nerves exposed to air, and the contents of the patient's mouth, and is prone to serious infection, causing even more pain. It's quite simple really. Sometimes, in some patients, it just happens, without any negative pressure from sucking or blowing, but it is rare.
omg now im scared im gettin my dry socket fixed tomarrow he numbed u n packing still hurt ima have a panic attack now. I just got mine done today worse pain I ever felt in my life I rather have a baby then feel this again!!! But now that pain med is stiffed in my socket I feel alot better but I keep tasting & smelling the medicine :-(. had upper molar out, took lots of paracetomol and felt sick- read back of pack "don't take with tea or coffee" it was all i was drinking! stayed awake a few hours and drank warm milk- now on green tea only. this dry socket thing scares me- i got the odd taste in my mouth and i feel more sore on day 3 than i did on 1 or 2 but i got a white glog in mine- is this the clot? (i would assume it would be red but it fills the hole perfect) maybe the pain increase is nerve healing- but got swelling too. ok... i got my bottom right molar pulled today and it came out without a hitch... but the numbing agent i received 1 injection of and i felt everything... what i dont understand is i've gotten injected 3-4 times before just getting a cavity drilled... this time the doc was acting like it was a narcotic or something... what is the reason for that? when i asked he told me he had done the best he could. Some people do not respond well to anesthetics. Usually one injection if it is well placed is enough.that dentist was an asshole. same thing happened to me, i actually had to punch my dentists in the leg cuz he wouldnt believe me and ripped into the molar. after 8 shots and no luck he drilled into the nerve and shot the navacaine into there and it worked. someimes an infection is so bad that novacaine doesnt work.
I had dry socket, primarily because I did the dumb thing and smoked. Hurt like hell for about 5 days, during which time I went to the dentist on three separate occasions just for an injection and a dressing. Hardly slept during this time, and ended up taking Nytol, and could hardly eat. Had a couple of incidents when a particle must have entered the wound, and the pain was so intense I couldn't do anything but just wait it out. Ibuprofen, Aspirin - no effect. Getting an extraction? Do not Smoke!
I smoked the second I hit the parking lot after my extraction, no problems at all. No pain. I took nothing more then 2 Advil the day of the extraction. I think it's a case by case basis.in the uk we dont numb the patient for this procedue, we just irrigate then pack the socket with an antibacterial material, i always inform my patients that it will more then likely hurt more during and after the procedue but the pain will wear off quickly.
in america we are sissys and always want to be either asleep or numb during any dental procedure...
oh man i just had all 4 wisdom tooth pulled today, i hope i can prevent dry socket, i'll remember not to suck and spit out saliva forcefully.
I had my 2nd moler removed a week ago and went back to dentist for check up and he put try socket med in there and said i shouldent smoke for another week even thoe i never got dry socket i was never in pian just itching and uncomfortable feeling.
The dentace said I have a dry socked and only packed the one dry socket that was really hurting me... When he packed it he put in a weird black fuzzy thing though it removed all the pain within 5 mins... The other dry socket hurts but nothing I can't ignore =).
did u put something in the gauze other than the eugenol or it is just eugenol in a gauze and when it should be changed ? if the gauze is medicated it is medicated with what?Interesting. First time seeing a patient with a dry socket yesterday (I'm a sutdent). He wasn't really in pain, just complaining of a little bit of pus coming out and it smelt quite badly. I didn't numb him up, irrigate the socket with corsodyl, and pack with alvogyl. Quite simple as compared to the dressing you used in this video :).
i'm sure it's all over by this post, but you looked brave. Hope you never have to go through that again.
Thank you for this video. I have dry sockets in two of my four extracted wisdom teeth. I went in for this same treatment the past two days, but my dentist hasn't been numbing me! It is so unbearable. They are leaving my current dressings in for the weekend and would like me to come back on Monday and Tuesday to continue this procedure. I'm wondering if there is a reason, that you could think of, why I'm not being numbed before hand. Thanks. Not sure. Don't be hesitant to ask for more aggressive pain control. The pain is not always easy to treat. Go on line to PubMed and do searches for free medical articles on treatment so that you can be an informed consumer.
i like how they have smooth music going on when in actuality he's probably crying. Very informative video.
Correct observation. Dry sockets are very hard to numb up. He was injected twice with bupicvacaine and had topical numbing applied. We felt bad for him, but once the socket was packed his pain went away.
what is the post op for this, does the person have to pull out the gauze or will it disolve away what are the instructions for the next couple days and is there any special medication that has to be put onto the dry socket?
The gauze is generally removed and replaced daily. The gauze is medicated. If the proecedure is performed by an emergency physician, the patient is referred out to see a dentist the next day. However, pain control and antibiotics are important at this stage.

YOU FUCKING PUSSY, LEARN HOW TO FUCKING SMOKE!!! AND YOU ARE A PUSSY!!! YOU LOOK LIKE A PUSSSY!!! A FUCKING GAUSS STRIP??! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! KEEP CONSTANT PRESSURE ON MY DICK!!!! YOURE A FUCKING PUSSY!!! SUCK MY DICK!!!I didnt do anything...i just smoked anyway without covering them...done it two different times. Ive never had a dry socket, but I probably just got lucky.I know you said you didn't anything, but was this preventive measures. By that I mean, after you smoked did you wash your mouth out before, after or both? Sorry DS just really scares me, lol. Thank you Jonny!!!! I got mine pulled this morning and I'm going nuts... Not only do I have that same blanket on my couch but you explained my need for a cigarette perfectly. Thanks!
HOW TO SMOKE AFTER A TOOTH EXTRACTION: 1.) Transition to e-cigs. There's no excuse to continue smoking when e-cigs are available. Do you really love cancer-causing tar so bad that you can't transition? E-cigs are satisfying and you get your same nicotine hit. 2.) After a tooth extraction, place the e-cig up to your nostril and inhale through your nose! That's all you have to do! 3.) You can also try to place it in your mouth and lightly inhale without producing a large suction.
I've actually been vaping and smoke-free for over 100 days now. Two things: -Thanks for reading the description and not trying to shame cigarette smokers *eye roll* -This video actually applies perfectly to someone using a PV or an analog, so your entire comment is unnecessary. One more thing, you're third tip is, in essence, what this entire video is all about.
I'm not trying to shame anyone. I'm anex-smoker of 20 years. It just blows me away how many smokers still don't know about e-cigs.
Most people DO know about e-cigs. But most of them don't work for quitting smoking because they are the crap you can get at a gas station like Njoys and Blu. If more people knew about PVs like the eVic or MVP, though, then there would be a better shot at converting others.
Actually you are mistaken. Most people successfully quit using one of the cig-a-like designs. They then move on to other models. I usually recommend the disposable to smokers. A couple of good ones are the Blue disposable and the Njoy Kings. They are very good to get the smoker to realize they can be satisfied. Most vapers will graduate from the cig-a-likes to models like eGo and similar and may not move up from there. It's all about what satisfies you.
I'm mistaken? Can you show me some research that proves your theory that most vapers (over 51%) quit analogs using a disposable eCig? Because, from my experience, most START OFF with an eGo type battery then upgrade from there. Furthermore, and speaking from my experience solely, most vapers attempted Blu, Njoy, etc and were completely dissatisfied.
Please learn to read. I said most vapers quit smoking using a cig-a-like, the e-cigs that are small like cigarettes. They then move on to other models. About the disposables, I said I like to recommend them or give them away to smokers because it lets them know they can be satisfied with an e-cig. I like the Blue and the Njoy King disposables. The Blue disposable lasts for days, the Njoy tastes just like a cigarette. Most vapers go to eGo-types and stay there.
I didn't know there were people who DIDN'T know about e-cigs. But anyway, they're not as good as everyone claims. My brother got a really expensive one and has been trying to quit and he still smokes real cigarettes instead of his e-cig.
Well, there are. And there are people who have heard of them but who don't want to purchase a kit just to see if they like it. I read somehwere that 6 out of 10 people who try e-cigs successfully quit cigarettes. Also, people think they can just buy one model and be happy with it the rest of their lives. It's not like that. Vapers will end up buying mulitple models as they outgrow previous ones. I started with disposable, went to a Blu kit, went to a passthrough and now have an eGo.
thanks man im an avid smoker of the green and this really helped me! 3-5 days without smoking is out of the question..thanks again. this is my fourth day and mann Im smoking like chimney hahaha, so far good, no dry sockets, i did wait for more than a day to smoke though. Going for surgery tomorrow. Think this method would work if we replace that nasty smoke with lets...a bong?A regular bong will be worse if anything. You have to pull harder on a bong to fill it than a cigg or joint. This did work for me. The day I had my bottom left wisdom tooth taken out, I immediately smoked a cigarette after leaving the dentist (had gauze in my mouth, bit down on it). I smoked three more times that day using the same method. The next day, I found some nicotine patches and put one on. I didn't smoke that day or the next, but resumed smoking the 4th day (no gauze). Since then I've been sure to take small, light drags and its now been a week and no dry socket.Tried this and still got dry socket. The dentist did clean out the socket put some kinda paste that smells like industrial adhesive and tastes like crap. It sucks but just quit for a few days its not worth the risk/pain. I've done the same thing. It's important to wet the gauze and use a sized piece that fits in your mouth. The reason it works is because it keeps the clots in your mouth secure, so just enough pressure on the gum holes will do it. Dry socket is caused from sucking, not the smoke itself (you should do the salt rinse after a smoke anyways). So inhale slow and loose, consider rolling your own cigs or ripping the filters off so you don't have to inhale as hard. Another option is to make a grav bong.
ugh, just got mine pulled out fuck it hurts and I want my cigarette so bad!!! came across your video!:).
This is 5 days old, but, the dentist can put a paste into the dry socket to relieve pain. Haven't had it done myself, but apparently it works rather well. Hope you aren't writhing in too much pain. I recommend more weed as a painkiller Make a grav bong next time dummy! :P.
You must not be doing it right. Or making gravs out of ridiculously large bottles. The smoke really shouldn't sit in the grav for very long. You fill it and hit it. You don't have to get the thing completely full and milky. The method in this video does work too. Again, just don't take hard hits. It is the suction that makes a problem, not the smoke. Same reason they tell you not to drink with a straw, you do not want to suck the clots out.Glad to know im not the only dumbass who smokes after getting teeth pulled (no offence...I mean it) and yeah the main thing is to make sure its light drags and to keep that blood clot in place.
2 MysticalGrooveWTC Yes, one can get dry sockets in many ways. But, this video was made to aid in the prevention of dry sockets for people that have to smoke after oral surgery. As you can see, a lot of people benefitted from it. So, you may say it's bullshit, but I think more people appreciated it than not.
this is bullshit, even if you don't smoke and do all the right things you can still get a dry socket. I smoked a few hours after my op and I was fine..
Well done AF is going to pay to take mine out before I get out so hey, might as well use them for everything I can. Haven't been one to go to medical in all these years but I doubt I can afford this crap once I'm out.i just got four wisdom teeth removed on tuesday and iv been freakin out about smoking but ama giv it a try! i need my buddddd high lol.
Ive had 3 molars and one tooth nxt to a mollar, pulled in the past 3 wks and this past few wks ive been stressin about dry socket!!!! I swear as im smoking, im searching dry socket on google lol...this is a great video..not to mention the dude is effin hot! C:.
just had 4 wisdom teeth extracted and was going borderline insane until i watched this vide Thank You.
Im guessing how many teeth u get tooken out is a factor well i got all 4 plus a fast last back molar would it work.
It's unwise to smoke a cigarette after your surgery as it is a pain in the ass having to keep swapping out gauzes. I recommend using a disposable ecig (10 bucks, has enough hits to last a pack). I got mine out a day ago and it works great!
Yes you can, but it will stick to your cheeks. Try using a paper towel. It doesn't matter as long as the socket is covered and no air gets into it when you suck in.
This is awful. Youth should not be privy to videos that teach them how to smoke. This video should be labeled with an "R" rating. YouTube should have a check off box specifically for "Tobacco Use" for warnings.Looked to see if there was a new trick but funny enough its the same one I've done in the past but one thing i did find in a dry socket study (had to laugh it was written by a smoking dentist) that wasn't on here is that if you have to smoke you need to use a anti bacteria mouthwash*may need to water it down a lil* RIGHT after removing the gauze but DON'T rinse just move your head side to side so you gently remove chemicals from your mouth so they don't enter the socket once re-exposed.
ive had quite a few extractions, and ive been a smoker for damned near 15 years. just like he says, take a piece of gauze, stuff it in the hole where the tooth used to be, you dont need water, just use your own saliva. never once have i had dry socket and ive smoked as early as hours after the extraction.
I had 4 wisdom teeth pulled when I was around 14 or 15 I guess, and don't remember any issues, but a number of years later I discovered I had a second complete set of wisdom teeth that eventually erupted normally! I still have them. Tip: if you HAVE to smoke, instead of the gauze, just put one cigarette in each nostril and inhale normally ;). Man had dry sockets on both wisdom sockets fucking hurt worse than broken bones top pain killers did not work they gave me Demerol which did not touch the pain I am glad that it only lasted a month !!Okay so I had all 4 of mine pulled yesterday morning and couldn't take going so long without smoking so I watched your video and I just tried it but my mom came out and freaked out saying I'm getting dry sockets now and I'm gonna be in a shit ton of pain..Dude I"m so scared!! You didn't get any dry sockets or had any issues??
i got mine taken out this week and pain killers do fuck all for me beside make me sick to my stomach.
I can definitely agree from personal experience that even mild pain killers can wreak havoc on the digestive system.. FUCK I DONT GOT ONE OF THOSE PADS I JUST GOT MY WISDOM TOOTH REMOVE YESTERDAY AND HAVE TO WAIT TILL TOMOROW TO SMOKE 2 DAYS IS WHAT THEY TOLD ME THINKING OF DOING IT TONIGHT THOE.
Great video, but isn't there a video just like this when you search how to smoke after wisdom teeth removal from 2 years ago? I'm just wondering why there needs to be more than one video for the same, reaches a wider audience I guess. Maybe this idea isn't a new one, I don't know, just wondering. ;).
I did a ton of searching after I got mine taken out, and found similar videos, but nothing too comprehensive. Just wanted to help people and explain everything.
but if he wasnt in the military man... YOU DONT EVEN KNOW how blitzed he woulda been during this vid.
Haha, nah man. I've been out since Feb of this year, and still have never smoked anything other than tobacco.I've done this method.. or various methods like this (packing gauze and biting down while taking a drag) and it has worked well for me. 3 extractions, no dry socket ever. I change the gauze after every cig just as an extra pre-caution. Good vid! Hope it works for the rest of you smokers!I just mine out yesterday man and I'm just gonna play it safe and put gauze like normal but smoke through my nose. Makes sence :) I just had a molar pulled today and while I CAN go days without ciggs. normally...I wanted one REAL bad since the Dr. told me I can't smoke now for a WEEK. lol...I just smoked on very gently and let air in with my drags...kinda just puffed. But yea your idea is great for a a heavier smoker!I would have to do this but i got a upm and now am on probation so i picked up cigarettes instead.. Works good.
